Air travel to the Rossland & Trail area can be achieved in a number of ways.

Spokane, WA		3.5 hours		Caution -this option is only viable for non-residents of Canada. Canada Customs will not permit entry to residents of Canada entering with a rental vehicle originating from the USA

Public transportation is not available to get to Rossland from either the Castlegar or Trail airports. Because taxi service is both costly and not readily available, you may prefer to book in advance for a rental car as indicated above. However, if you elect for taxi service, costs one-way to Rossland from the Trail airport would be about $75 and approximately $120 from Castlegar. The only two taxi companies in this area are Champion Cabs (250.364.3344) and Castlegar Taxi (250.365.7222), and this long-distance taxi-service must be booked in advance..
