one or more events of this conference & exhibition. The CMA conference & exhibition is held each year in
a continuing effort to facilitate networking and development of relationships between chemists, assayers and staff
in analytical laboratories as well as suppliers of equipment and chemicals. The membership in the organization
includes commercial laboratories from the private sector, and the mining and manufacturing industries. The conference
enables the suppliers, analysts and laboratory managers to share and communicate efforts in their respective testing
fields to improve the quality and quantity of the analyses they employ.
In a continued effort to maximize the number of participants, members and attendees at the conference organizers have set up an affordable fee structure for the 2010 conference/exhibit and workshop. The organization encourages and counts on support from both industry and suppliers. Additionally the CMA funds scholarships across Canada for students participating in and enrolling in analytical fields as supports the mining, metals manufacturing, and environmental testing associated with those industries.
